Glitching the Future

Glitching the Future is a collaborative project between Bubblegum Club and ZAM Magazine, aiming to disrupt the power dynamics ingrained in digital systems. By amplifying African Futurist and Afrofeminist perspectives, the initiative proposes transformative, ethical alternatives to the technologies currently dominating our lives. At the heart of the project is a dynamic microsite that serves as a living digital repository of artworks, essays, and sonic explorations, inviting creators from Africa and its diaspora to collectively reshape the future of digital culture. This space encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration, critical dialogue, and the development of tools that prioritize community, care, and justice in the age of rapidly evolving technology.
