A collaboration between Bubblegum Club and CUSS Group, Infinity Studio was commissioned by Kampnagel for their Live Art Festival #8: Superspaces. This immersive performance transports audiences to a temporary space that brings Johannesburg’s pre-2010 World Cup urban culture to life. Through live performances, video installations, and sound design, Infinity Studio invites festivalgoers to explore the themes of gentrification, privatization, and escapism that shapes Johannesburg. Presented as part of the festival, this experimental piece examines the intersection of contemporary Johannesburg life with global artistic trends, offering a vision for the future of cultural institutions.
